We are hiring! Below we’ve provided some information about a couple of current open positions that we’d like to highlight.
Clinical Faculty

Some of the primary responsibilities include teaching and coordinating entry-level and advanced-level courses for undergraduates and MS-level students in data science during each of the fall and spring semesters. Topics of courses might include some subset of the following: probability and statistics, statistical modeling, causal inference, machine learning, computer vision, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, “big data”, visualization, and programming for data science.
Applicants must have a strong background in data science, a Ph.D. in a related field, and experience in and knowledge about undergraduate and graduate teaching, learning, and curricular issues.

Science Writer (Fellowship Open to NYU Students Only)
With CDS having one of the largest social media presences at NYU, this is a great opportunity to make an impact by having your work reach a sizable audience on a regular basis. The Science Writing Fellow will support the CDS communications team by creating audience-focused social media content that promotes and highlights research conducted by members of the CDS community. This content will include short-form write ups for the CDS blog and other social media platforms. The Science Writing Fellow will also assist in documenting CDS events, research, and activities.
We’re looking for candidates who have experience in social media content creation, management, analysis, and best practice, as well as experience communicating topics in various scientific fields regardless of background on the specific subject.
Please visit the Science Writer Handshake posting for more information and/or to apply. Please note that this position is only open to current NYU students.
