This entree is a part of our Meet the Fellow blog series, which introduces and highlights Faculty Fellows who have recently joined CDS.

Marco Morucci, CDS Faculty Fellow

Meet CDS Faculty Fellow Marco Morucci. He holds a PhD in political methodology from Duke University. Marco’s research interests lie in developing methods for empirical political science in settings in which data is limited and causal inference is difficult. His applied research focuses on understanding the causes and consequences of mass public action, and on corruption and bribery in developing countries.

“I’m excited to be at CDS as the expertise in machine learning, statistics, and data science that can be found here will be an invaluable resource in addressing the political and social questions that are at the center for my research,” says Marco.
