Back to School: Spring 2022 Edition
The beginning of the spring 2022 semester is officially upon us. To kick off the year and the semester right, we’ve outlined some helpful resources and information for you below.
NYU’s Guidance on COVID-19
Due to the rapidly changing circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, we highly recommend that you check the NYU Returns: 2021–2022 webpage for up-to-date NYU policies and procedures.
The Student Health Center, the NYU Wellness Exchange, & LiveWellNYU
It goes without saying that both physical and mental health is a collective concern these days. Here is some information on available health-related resources. The Student Health Center (SHC) offers medical and pharmacy services, counseling, and provides accessibility accommodations to students with disabilities. SHC also includes the Health Promotion initiative, which provides health information to guide students in making informed and healthy choices while at NYU.
The NYU Wellness Exchange is a comprehensive mental health campus resource. The exchange includes a 24-hour hotline, the Wellness exchange app which is available anytime, and counseling sessions, which can be arranged same-day if urgent. The Exchange can be reached at wellness.exchange@nyu.edu.
Furthermore, LiveWellNYU is an initiative that connects students with academic and social tips, and provides opportunities to participate in various campus activities.
